ecological footprint The ecological footprint is a measure of human demand on the Earth's ecosystems
bio-productivity The bio-productivity is the amount and rate of production which occur in a given ecosystem over a given time period.
carrying capacity the maximum, equilibrium number of organisms of a particular species that can be supported indefinitely in a given environment.
limiting factors an environmental factor that tends to limit population size.
biomass the amount of living matter in a given habitat, expressed either as the weight of organisms per unit area or as the volume of organisms per unit volume of habitat.
