Bladder Muscular bag where urine is temporarily stored.
Seminal Vesicle Small glands opening into the male urethra, adding some fluid to the seminal fluid.
Vas deferens Tube carrying sperm from the testes.
Urethra Tube carrying urine from the bladder to outside the body.
Epididymis Part of the testes where sperm mature before their release.
Foreskin A covering of the end of the penis.
Ureter Tube carrying urine from the kidney to the bladder.
Prostate gland Gland which secretes liquid which makes up part of the seminal fluid.
Penis Organ that gets sperm into the females vagina.
Testis About 5cm long. Contain about 300 compartments in which there are tubules that produce sperm.
Scrotum Muscular bag containing the testes.
Vagina Muscular tube in which a penis is inserted during intercourse. A baby is born through it.
Urethra Tube carrying urine from the bladder to outside the body.
Ovary Egg producing organ in a female.
Oviduct Transports eggs from the ovary to the womb. Where fertilisation takes place.
Uterus Where a baby develops. The outer lining is thick muscle used to expel the baby during childbirth. Inner lining is endometrium.

Clitoris A small structure containing erectile tissue and a network of nerve endings.
Cervix The neck of the uterus. Dilates during childbirth.
Endometrium The inner lining of the uterus, which anchors (implants) and feeds an embryo. Helps to form the placenta.
Fimbriae Tentacle-like structures surrounding the opening of the oviduct.
Vulva Folds of tissue over the opening of the vagina.
