| Vagina | Muscular tube in which a penis is inserted during intercourse. A baby is born through it. |

| Ovary | Egg producing organ in a female. |
| Oviduct | Transports eggs from the ovary to the womb. Where fertilisation takes place. |
| Uterus | Where a baby develops. The outer lining is thick muscle used to expel the baby during childbirth. Inner lining is endometrium. |

| Fimbriae | Tentacle-like structures surrounding the opening of the oviduct. |
| Vulva | Folds of tissue over the opening of the vagina. |
