Migration Seasonal movement of animals to one region to another.
Habitat Home of a plant or animal.
Hibernation Hibernation is a state of inactivity and metabolic depression in endotherms. Hibernation refers to a season of heterothermy that is characterized by low body temperature, slow breathing and heart rate, and low metabolic rate.
Biosphere the regions of the surface, atmosphere, and hydrosphere of the earth (or analogous parts of other planets) occupied by living organisms.
Diural Of or during the day.
Nocturnal Done, occurring, or active at night.
Community A group of people living in the same place or having a particular characteristic in common.
Phototropism he orientation of a plant or other organism in response to light, either toward the source of light ( positive phototropism ) or away from it ( negative phototropism ).
