Adhesion The attraction between the molecules of the two different substances in compact with each other
Cohesion The strength with which the particles of an object or fluid attract each other
Compression A decrease in volume produced by force
Flow rate The speed at which a fluid flows from one point to another
Force A push or pull that acts on a object, anything that changes the motion or shape of an object
Friction A force that opposes the sliding motion between two touching surfaces
Gravitation The attractions force between an object, the force that causes object so be pulled toward the centre of the Earth
Kilopascal A unit of pressure equal to 1000pa
Magnetic
Pascal A unit of pressure equal to 1 newton per square meter
Pressure The amount of force applied over a given area to an object
Surface Tension A property at the surface of the liquid attract each other, causing the surface to act like thin skin or membrane (paper clip lab)
Viscosity The resistance of a fluid to flow, the slower the flow the greater the viscosity
Weight The amount of force on an object due to gravity
