TermDefinition
decomposer An organism that gets energy receding on dead materials and water. They use sugars from dead materials to get energy. They then give of carbon dioxide.
microorganism An organism that cannot be seen without the aid of a microscope. Bacteria and some fungi are microscopic.
yeast A single celled fungus, yeast remains dormant when it's dry. It begins to grow in warm moist environments. Yeast uses sugar for food
The process of a plant The seed is dug then needs water it has to be the perfect temperature and the plant would germinate
petal To attract bees and insects with there bright colors and smells. It protects the male and female.
sepal To protect the flower bud and to support the flower.
pistil The female part of the flower
stigma To attract pollen with its sticky top
style To protect the pollen as it travels to the ovary
ovary To hold the eggs that will combine with the pollen grain.
nectary To produce nectar that attracts pollinators
receptacle It provides support to the flower

primary producer organism that makes their own food from sunlight and/or chemical energy from deep sea vents are the base of every food chain. These are called autographs
primary consumer animals that eat primary producers they are also called herbivores
secondary consumer eat primary consumers they are carnivores and omnivores
tertiary consumer eat secondary consumer.
