mesophyll the photosynthesis tissue between upper and lower epidermis
palisade mesophyll loaded with chloroplasts
spongy mesophyll arranged in air spaces
stoma opening on the bottom of surrounded by guard cells
stamen male parts of the flower
anther produces and contains pollen
filament fine like hair that sits on top of the anther
pistil female parts of the flower
stigma receives the pollen grains and on which they germinate
ovary holds the seed and turns into a fruit
style sits on top of the stigma
imperfect flower can have all male parts or all female parts
perfect has both female and male
ovule parts of the ovary that becomes the seeb
