Ecosystem Is all living and nonliving things in an area and their interactions.
Habitat A place that provides all the things an organisms needs to live.
Biotic A Living thing
Abiotic A nonliving thing
FOOD CHAIN is a series of steps showing how energy moves from one biotic factor
FOOD WEBS is diagram of many food chains
SYMBIOSIS is a long term relationship between two organisms
Herbivores only eat plants
carnivores only eat animals
omnivores eat plant and animals
scavenders fest on dead animals
population a group of one speices living in a certian area
community different populations in an area
decomposers get energy by breaking down wastes and dead organisms
parasites live inside or outside another organism taking nutrients from that organism
niche the role that an organism has in an ecosystem
carrying capasity the number of organisms that can live in a habitat
predator the one that hunts and eats other animals
prey the one that gets hunted and eaten
producers make their own food for energy
consumers can’t make their own food and get energy from other producers of comsumers
