clouds are formed when a rising mass of air is cooled
condense if the air is cooled below the dew point, the water vapor in the air condenses into tiny dropplets or ice chrystaks and forms a cloud.
cirrus high, thin, feathery clouds that often mean goos weather.
stratus low clouds that form layers, usually mean stormy weather.
cumulus puff clouds that form in heaps. Usually mean fair weather
nimbus/nimbo means rain
alto(stem) means forming in the middle layer in the sky.
wind chill cooling effect of skin by wind evaporating - perspiration.
precipitation is water vapor that condenses and falls to the Rarth.
