What is the successful way getting and receiving messages? The successful way to get a message and receiving a message is M,S,R,F (message to be delivered, sender of the message, receiver of the message, feedback about the message)
What is verbal communication? Verbal communication is the act of sending/receiving a message
What is non-verbal communication? Non Verbal communication is the act of using body language the body position and actions is used to send a message without the use of words
Why is communication important? Communication is important so that the Nurse Aide communicate successfully with the resident, family, and staff in orders to meet the residents needs
What are barriers to successful communication? Barriers to communication can be a noisy room, lack of privacy, talking to fast, sender or receiver is mentally confused, blindness, sender speech difficulty, prejudices, frustration by sender or receiver
What is Culture? Culture is a view of the world as well as a set of values, beliefs, and traditions that are handed down from generation to generattion
What is the health care culture? The Health Care culture is: Beliefs, Practices, Rituals, and Expectations
