Accreditation | Process of establishing and determining if an organization that issues credentials or degrees engages in acceptable practices and meets specific standards |
Certification | Involves only profession, does not depend on state statutes, restricts title, does not restrict practice |
Licensure | Involves both profession and state, restricts title and practice |
