What is matter? Matter- is anything that has mass and takes up space.Matter is also everything around you.
What is a physical property? Physical Property- is how matter looks,feels,smells,sounds,or tastes.
What is a chemical property? Chemical Property-tells how matter can change into new types of matter.
Properties of Matter? Rusting-chemical property Color-physical property Burning-chemical property Hardness-physical property
What is an element? Element-is a kind of matter that can't be broken down into any other kind of substance.
What is an atom? Atom-is the smallest part of an element.
What is a chemical bond?
What is a compound? Compounds-are made up of the atoms of two or more elements joined together.
When elements combine? When elements combine their physical and chemical properties change.
What is a mixture Mixture-is made up of two or more compounds or elements that are together in the same place.
