What is the best mic type for a kick drum? Dynamic
What is the best mic for acoustic guitar? Condenser
What does proximity effect mean? More bass when you get a mic closer to a sound source.
What does a microphone do? Converts sound signals into electronic signals
What does a mic preamp do? Boosts the very low level of microphone signals
What is phantom power? Powers condenser microphones normally 48v, travels down the XLR signal cable.
