How often does one check for dislodgement of implant? every 4-6 hrs.

How is accidental dislodgement avoided pt. stays in bed and rests quietly
How do caregivers monitor radiation exposure? wear radiation monitoring devices,also wear protective devices to minimize exposure
How might a pt. undergoing brachytherapy feel? lonely, depressed, & isolated
Intracavity implants are frequently used to treat what? gynecologic malignancies
How is the position of the implant verified? by X-ray
What might be ordered to keep pt in bed to prevent dislodgement of isotopes(implants)? urinary catheter, low residue diet, antidiarrheal agents
