maritime polar weather that is formed over the water in polar regions
maritime tropical weather that is formed over the water in tropical regions
continental polar usually brings dry and cold air masses
continental tropical usually brings dry and hot air masses
continental arctic brings very cold and very dry air
coriolis effect causes winds and waters to move in clockwise patterns in the northern hemisphere and counter clockwise patterns in the southern hemisphere
tornado alley a place in the United States where warm fronts regularly meet cold fronts in dramatic ways
cyclone winds spiraling around a low pressure cell
