What does LAN stands for? Local Area Network
What does Wide Area Network (WAN) is use for? Uses long distance transmission media to link computers separated by a few miles or even thousands of miles.
What does Metropolitan Area Network (MAN)is? Is a network design for a city or town.
What are some examples of communication devises? Examples are computers, routers, modems,switches, hubs, wireless access points, and network interface cards.
What does (DLCI) stands for? Stands for Data Link control/connection identifier.
What is a network interface card (NIC)? Is an expansion board that fits into an expansion slot, or adaptor, that is built into the computer mother board.
