muscle fatigue part 4 oxygen debt = excess postexercise oxygen consumption (EPOC) = amount of oxygen required to restore normal pre-exertion conditions
muscle fatigue part 4 (A) skeletal muscle: uses oxygen to restore ATP, creatine phosphate, and glycogen
muscle fatigue part 4 (B) liver: uses oxygen to generate ATP to convert lactate to glucose
