What does the hormone receptor complex do? acts as a TF switches enzyme synthesis on/off
Pituitary Gland brain, HGH, ADH and FSH; starts puberty
Thyroxid Gland neck/throat. thyroxin, increases basal metabolic rate
Pancreas insulin; cells take in glucose glucagon; increases bloof glucose levels
oestrogen ovary development
testosterone development of male sexual organs
Islands of langerhans contain endocrine cells which release insulin
adrinal glands kidneys releases adrenaline. increases basal metabolic rate and heart rate.
