What is the definition of Sexual Reproduction? It is a type of reproduction in which the genetic material from to different cells combine, producing an offspring.
What is the definition of egg? The female sex cell that forms an ovary.
What is the definition of Sperm? The male sex cell that forms a testis.
What is fertilization? A process that in egg cell and a sperm cell join together.
Explain what a zygote is A new cell that forms from fertilization.
Define what a diploid cell is Cells that have two pairs of chromosomes.
What are homologous chromosomes? Pairs of chromosomes that have genes for the same traits arranged in the same order.
What are haploid cells? Cells that only have one chromosomes from each pair.
What is Meiosis? One diploid cell divides and makes four haploid sex cells.
Different form of genes are called what? Alleles
When DNA replicates it's called what? Replication
When does interphase occur? Before meiosis
In what phase does the sister chromatids split up? Anaphase II
Name the phase of Meiosis I Prophase I Metaphase I Anaphase I Telophase I
