Asia physical map terms

what is a plateau? where is one located? Is a high area of uplifted, then eroded land. ex. Plateau of Tibet
what is an archipelago? where is one located? A large group or chain of islands. ex. Japan
What is a tectonic plate? where are they located? The dozen or so plates that make up the surface of the earth. ex. under earths crust
What is a steppe? where is one located? An extensive plain especially one without trees. Russian for grasslands. ex.
What is a peninsula? Where is one located? An area of land almost completely surrounded by water except for an isthmus connecting it with the mainland. ex. Arabian peninsula
What is an alluvial? Where is one located? A deposit of sand, mud etc. formed by flowing water. ex.
What is a loess? A loamy deposit formed by wind. ex.
