If a hurricane hits the coast of southeastern US, which ocean did it most likely form from? Atlantic Ocean
Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Nebraska, Texas make up an area called Tornado Alley. Why is the area given this name? This is an area where over 800 tornadoes occur yearly because cold, dry air from Canada meets warm, moist air from the Gulf of Mexico
