Insect an arthropod with three body sections, six legs, one pair of antennae, and wings.
Complete Metamorphosis a type of metamorphosis characterized by four dramaticall different stages.
pupa the third stage of complete metamorphosis in which an insect larva changes to an adult.
gradual metamorphosis a type of metamorphosis in which an insect larva changes to an adult.
nymph a stage of gradual metamorphosis that usually resembles the adult.
water vascular system a system of fluid-filled tubes in an echinoderm's body.
consumer an organism that obtains energy by feeding on other organisms.
echinoderm an invertebrate with radial symmetry that lives in the ocean and has an endoskeleton.
endoskeleton an internal skeleton
arachnids an arthropod with two body sections, four pairs of legs, and no antennae.
