Electricity
| Term | Definition |

| Electric Charge | The property that leads to electromagnetic interactions between the particles that make up matter. |
| Static Electricity | the buildup of electrical charge on an object |
| Electrical Conductor | a material in which electricity can move freely |
| Electrical Insulator | a material in which electricity cannot move freely |
| Semiconductor | a material in which is made up of insulators and conductors. |
| Electric Current | Rate of electric flow |
| Voltage | amount of work required to move each unit of charge between two points. |
| resistance | The opposition to the electrical charge. |
| Electric Circuit | a complete, closed path in which electricity can flow. |
| Series circuit | all parts are connected in the same path of the electrical current |
| parallel circuit | all electric charges can go in different charges. |
