environmental chemicals

Dispersion Spreads the chemical out over a greater surface
Dilution adding large amounts of air or water to reduce the amount of pollutant (reducing the concentration)
Biodegradation Living things that break down pollutants/chemicals
Aerobic AIR- an environment where oxygen is present
Anaerobic NO AIR- an environment where there is no oxygen present (some bacteria only survive here. ie. deep within landfills)
