| Constellation | A group of starts that form a star picture |
| Orbit | The path around something |
| Planets | Large balls of rock, or balls of rock and gas, that move around the sun |
| Solar System | The sun and the eight planets |
| Star | A large ball of hot gases - The sun is the star closest to Earth. |
| Universe | the earth, the planets, the stars, and all things that exist in space |
| Dusk | The time of day when it is just getting dark |
| Dawn | The time of day when it is just getting light |
| Horizon | the area where the earth and sky look as if they come together |
| Rotate | to turn around or cause to turn around a center point or axis; revolve |
| Revolution | the movement of one object around a center or another object, the movement of Earth around the sun |
| Gravity | a force that pulls all objects towards each other |
| Force | push or pull |
| Mass | the amount of matter in an object |
