vein blood moves through these back to the heart
ventricle sends blood to the arteries
tissue many cells arranged in layers; collection of cells carrying out different functions
valve open and then close tightly to keep blood moving in the same direction through your circulatory system
blood vessels (arteries); the heart pumps blood through these to then move the blood through into capillaries
capillaries oxygen and food move from the blood to the body's cells
