Geology The study of Earth's extirior and interior.
Astronomy The study of the universe.
Meterology The study of Earth's atmosphere.
Oceanography The study of the oceans.
Hypothesis An informed guess that tries to explain how or why an event occurs.
Protoplanet Hypothesis The hypothesis that many astronomers favor because it best explains the facts.
Protoplantes Eddies that have shrunk.
photosynthesis The process in which green plants manufacture sugars and starches from carbon dioxide and water in the presence of sunlight.
Inner Core The center of the Earth.
Outer Core A liquid wall that surrounds the inner core.
Mantle A 2900 kilometer thick layer of heavy rocks rich in compunds of iron, magnesium, and silicon.
Crust A layer of lighter rocks that covers the mantle.
Density A measure of the amount of material in a given space.
