diploid number the number of chromosomes in an organism

homologous chromosomes when one pair of chromosomes is made by one chromosome of mother and one of the dad.
differentiation is the process where the baby developes in trimesters and grews bones and muscles
external fertilization when an egg cell and a sperm cell untie outside of the bodies of the parents.
internal fertilization when the sperms are inserted inside the female body where they meet with the egg cell,
mating is the process where gametes arrive in the same place at the same time
embryonic development is the early development of an organism.
