| What is Climate? | The typical weather of an area over a long period of time |
| What are the 4 elements of weather? | temperature, humidity, air pressure, and wind. |
| What is the name of a person who studies weather? | meteorologist |
| What forms when moisture evaporates into the air, and then cools? | A cloud |
| What impact does ocean have on climate? | It tends to make temperatures in coastal areas less extreme. |
| Why is the temperature lower at night than during the day? | The temperature depends on the energy from the sun. |
| Why does it tend to be cool at the Earth's poles? | The sun does not shine directly on the poles. |
