| Term | Definition |

| Circulatory System | Is responsible for transporting materials throughout the entire body. |
| respiratory system | The process of oxygen being applied to the blood |
| Integumentary system | To protect the body from damage, the skin is part of this system |
| Excretory System | The process of removing waste from our body, urination is part of this system |
| Skeletal System | The structure of a living being or animal, which is the frame of the body. |
| Endocrine System | It is the system which controls and produces hormones for a human |
| Digestive System | The system which makes food absorbable for the body |
| Reproductive System | The system which reproduces, this includes the testes and ovaries |
| Muscular System | Consisting of smooth and cardiac muscles, allowing the body to move |
| Lymphatic System | Are lymphatic vessels caring a clear liqued called lymph, which gets rid of body toxins |
| Mitosis | The division of the nuclease through the process of four parts |
| Prophase | Sister chromatids thicken, nuclear membrane and nucleolus dissapear. Centrioles ends to opposite side of cell and spindle fibers form. |
| Metaphase | Chromosomes line up in the middle and spindle fibers stretch from pole to pole |
| Anaphase | Centromeres break apart, and Chromatids are pulled to opposite sides by spindle fibers |
| Telophase | Nuclear membrane and nucluolous appear in two dauther nuclei. Chromosomes become harder to see, and the cytoplasm pinches in half |
| Interphase | Is when the cell performs the majority of it's purpose, and eventually getting ready for Mitosis |
| Apoptosis | Is the programmed death of a cell, it will do this when it feels the need to die. |
| Necrosis | Is the damage or death of a cell through an external force, cut, poison, etc. |
