Vocabulary

TermDefinition
Acceleration The rate at which velocity changes.
Inertia The property of matter that keeps it at rest or moving in a straight line.
Position The location of an object in space.
Speed The distance an object travels in a certain amount of time.
Velocity A measure of an object's speed in a particular direction of a moving object. The speed and direction of a moving object.
