Biomass The total quantity or weight of organisms in a given area or volume
Consumption The using up of a resource
Energy The strength and vitality required for sustained physical or mental activity
Fuel Cell A device that produces electricity by combining a fuel, usually hydrogen, with oxygen
Geothermal Of, relating to, or produced by the internal heat of the earth
Nuclear Of or relating to the nucleus of an atom
Pollution The presence in or introduction into the environment of a substance or thing that has harmful or poisonous effects
Solar Of, relating to, or determined by the sun
Renewable Energy Natural energy that can be used again and again and will never run out
Non- Renewable Energy Natural energy that cannot be used again and again and it can run out.
Hydro-Power Energy that comes from the force of moving water
Wind Power Energy that comes from the force of wind turning a turbine
