Parallel Lines Being an equal distance apart everywhere. Two lines on a plane that never meet.
Perpendicular Lines Lines that are at right angles (90 degrees)to each other. Intersecting at or forming right angles.
Horizontal Lines A horizontal line is one which runs from left to right across the page. It comes from the word "horizon", in the sense that horizontal lines are parallel to the horizon.
Vertical Lines A vertical line is defined as a line that usually goes straight up and down, parallel to the Y-axis of the coordinate plane. it has no slope and all the points.
