Vegetative/asexual reproduction Reproducing through autotrophs without the mixing of DNA
Mitosis The stage of the cell cycle during which the cell's nucleus divides into two new nuclei
Cell cycle The regular sequence of growth amd division a cell undergoes
Cytokenesis The process by which the cytoplasm divides, distributing the organelles into each of the two cells
Interphase The first stage of the cell cycle where the cell grows to its mature size,makes a copy of its DNA and prepares to divide into two new cells
Telophase When the chromosomes begin to stretch out and loose their rod-like appearance. Occuring in the two regions at the endz of a cell. A new nuclear membrane forms arount each region of chromosomes
Chromatid Each identical strand or.rod of a chromosome
Chromosome A rod of chromatin. Each has is an exact copy of the other
Anaphase When the two centromeres split
