fossil fuels oil, coal, and gas that are natural resources that are non-renewable
alternative energy other sources of energy we could use that would be renewable such as biofuel, geothermal, hydroelectric, solar, or wind
biofuel energy fuel that comes from biomass (which is recently living organism or their byproducts) such as manure
geothermal energy heat from within the Earth - we use this form of energy from digging deep wells and pumping the heated underground water or steam to the surface
hydroelectric energy generates electricity by harnessing the power of moving water
solar energy energy received from the sun
wind energy harnessing the wind by using turbines or windmills
