| Neutron | A subatomic partical that has no charge. |
| Electron | A stable subatomic particle that has a negative charge. |
| Proton | A stable, positively charged subatomic particle . |
| Element | A substance composed of atoms having an identical number of protons in each nucleus. |
| Atom | part or particle considered to be an irreducible constituent of a specified system. |
| Luster | Able to shine |
| Malleable | Can be smashed without being crumbled. |
| Ductile | Able to be drawn out into a thin wire. |
| Corrosive | Any of various powdery or scaly reddish metal. (rust) |
| Density | The quality or condition of being dense. |
| Nobel gases | They are very nonreactive, rarely form compound. |
| halogens | They are the reactive form of compound with the alkali metals. |
| alkali metal | Highly reactive with water. |
| alkaline earth metals | Vary reactive, but not as much as alkali metals. |
| transitional metal | They are quite nonreactive. |
| Alloy | A metal made by combining 2 or more elements. |
