Ozone Gas molecule made up of three oxygen atoms
Atmospheric Pressure Gravity holds gasses of the atmosphere close to Earth's surface
Troposphere Close to the Earth's surface; All weather occurs here; Temperature decreases with elevation
Stratosphere Contains ozone layer; Temperature increases with altitude
Mesosphere Coldest layer of the atmosphere; Temperature decreases with altitude
Thermosphere Uppermost layer of the atmosphere; Temperatures increase with altitude; contains ionosphere
Barometer Instrument used to calculate atmospheric pressure
Temperature Inversion Cool air is trapped beneath warmer air
