MITOSIS

TermDefinition
Interphase Chromosome are copied
Prophase The cell prepares for mitosis.
Metaphase The chromosomes meet in the middle of the cell.
Anaphase The chromosomes draw apart to opposite sides of the cell.
Telophase 2 identical nuclei are formed
Cytokinesis cytoplasm pinches in to form 2 identical daughters cells
