What are the organism's name in the fungus kingdom? mushrooms, mold, yeast
How are fungus cells arranged? in hyphae (branching thread-like structures)
What are the functions of spores? they are used in reproduction
What are the helpful uses of fungi? decomposes and recycles things on Earth, some cause disease as well as fight disease
What are the shared characteristics between organisms of the fungus kingdom? Fungi are eukaryotes that have cell walls, are heterotrophs that feed by absorbing their food, and use spores to reproduce.
What are the steps of a virus invading a cell? 1. Attaches to the cell, 2. Injects genetic material, 3. Virus multiplies, 4. Fills the cell, 5. Too crowded-bursts open
What does the virus do during each step of invasion of a cell? same as box above
What is the difference between an active and a hidden virus? Active viruses work immediately,hidden viruses is when the genetic material hides in a cell
What is an endospore? a thick walled resting cell that protects the bacteria during bad times-ex: extreme heat or cold

Do viruses exist where there are no life forms? Explain No, viruses do not exist where there are no life forms because viruses can only multiply when they are inside a living cell.
How are bacterial cells different in characteristics? shape, the way they move, sizes, obtaining food, reproduction
