Phospholipid "tails" are hydro... tails are hydrophobic
Phospholipid phosphate heads are... hydrophilic
lipoproteins are made of cholesterol, triglyceride, protein
HDL's have.. higher protein level and UNSATURATED fat triglyceride
LDL's have higher fat content and SATURATED fat triglyceride
Where does cholesterol come from? produced in liver from fats in our diet

What element is lost when sugars join through CONDENSATION? H20

BMI calculation? mass (KG) height (M2)
anti hypertensive drugs? ACE inhibitors Calcium channel blockers Diuretics
What is an ACE inhibitor? Reduce vasoconstriction (tightening of blood vessels)
What are calcium channel blockers? Calcium must pass through muscle cells for them to contract With the channel blocked blood vessels cannot constrict
Diuretics? Makes you pee=decrease in blood plasma=less blood=less pressure
