What are some of the process of the water cycle. Preciptation,Watervapor,Transportation,Evaporation.
In the process of evaporation what happens to the water and how Liquid water changes to a gas called water vapor.

What are the two types of water. Fresh and Salt Water.
What is groundwater. Water that fills the crack and space underground.
What are tributaries? The streams and small rivers that feed toward the main river
What is watershed? The area that supplies water to the river system
What is a divide? When a watershed seperates from another
What are ponds? ponds are bodies of fresh water
How do ponds form? when water collects in hollows and low lying areas.
Is pond water drinkable? no
Is a lake fresh water or salt water? fresh
How do lakes form? Some lakes form in different ways,but some form in the same processes as ponds
Are lakes bigger than ponds? yes
What is a wetland? The area that is covered with water year round
What are three common types of freshwater wetlands? marshes,swamps,and bogs
What is the importance of wetlands? they supply habitats and shelter for many living things.
