| digestive system | is a long tube in which food is broken down into nutrients an organism can use. |
| excretory system | removes wastes from the body. |
| respiratory system | is made of the lungs and passageways that lead to them. |
| circulatory system | consists of heart and blood vessels. |
| nervous system | includes the brain, the nerve cord, nerves, and sense organs. |
| endocrine system | which has glands that produce hormones. |
| skeletal and muscular systems purpose | help the animal move, without bones and muscles animals would not be able to move. |
| digestive and excretory systems purpose | helps body break down food and help it turn it into nutrients for the body and then break it down into waste. |
| respiratory and circulatory systems purpose | helps the body so it can circulate air around the body and for the air to give the heart carbon dioxide and pick up oxygen. |
| nervous and endocrine systems purpose | these systems help an animal know when danger is coming, how to react, and change their body activity. |
