The Characteristics of Seed Plants

germination | when the embryo pushes out of the seed |
root cap | a structure that protects the root from injury |
cambium | a layer of cells that divides into new phloem and xylem |
stomata | small openings in the surface layers of the leaf |
transpiration | the process where water evaporates from the leaves |
