| Mass | A quantity or aggregate of matter usually of considerable size. |
| Weight | A measurement that indicates how heavy a person or thing is. |
| Solar System | The sun together with the group of celestial bodies that are held by its attraction and revolve around it. |
| Nebula | A cloud of gas or dust in space that can sometimes be seen at night. |
| Solar Nebula | The rotating flattened cloud of gas and dust from which the sun and the rest of the bodies in the solar system formed. |
| Planetesimal | Any of numerous small celestial bodies that may have existed at an early stage of the development of the solar system. |
| Crust | The outer part of a planet, moon, or asteroid composed essentially of crystalline rocks. |
| Mantle | The part of the interior of a terrestrial planet and especially the earth that lies beneath the crust and above the central core. |
| Core | The central part of the Earth. |
