What happens to amino acids not needed or extra ones? Burned for energy or converted to fat and stored.
What is nitrogen balance? Protein synthesis is occuring at the same rate as protein breakdown.
What proteins are considered complete? Animal proteins and soy protein.
What is a complete protein? A protein that provides adequate amounts and proportions of all essential amino acids needed for protein synthesis.
