water- free, Electricity can be generated constantly ... unlike solar, wind, tidal expensive to build and flood large areas permanently ... destroy habitat and not many suitable rivers left
nuclear- huge amount of energy and small amounts of waste and reliable expensive to build and expensive to maintain dangerous wastes and nuclear melt down
geothermal- doesn't require a lot of room. and unlimited drilling deep wells ( expensive ) and not many places it is close to surface and sometimes geothermal areas move or change
biomass- wise use of waste products and renewable and puts less demand on fossil fuels takes time to grow - must be managed and can replace food crops and increase prices and can produce pollution in the burn
