| Deciduous Forest | loses leaves during fall, covers eastern U.S., filled with oaks, elms, and maples, changing during winter months, terrestrial |
| Grasslands | covered with grasses, few trees, small amounts of rainfall, animals like bison, antelope, and prairie dogs eat grass, terrestrial |
