Tropical Rainforest -warm all year long -some parts get large amounts of rain -terrestial -more species than any other biome
Deciduous Forest -found in cool places -terrestrial -loses leaves in fall and winter -Europe and eastern half of U.S. -found in places without huge amounts of rain
Grassland -some have been turned into farms -few trees, lots of grasses -small amounts of rain -terrestrial -trees near lakes or rivers
Taiga -terrestrial -mostly in Northern Hemisphere -most trees are pines -elk, moose, wolves
Desert -every continent has deserts -less than 25 centimeters of rain or snow in a year -
