TermDefinition
ecosytems are all the living things (biotic) plants and animals and the non living (abiotic) things in a place.
population is a group of organisms of one species that live in an area at one time.
community is made up of all the populations in an area.
biomes biomes are large vegions of land with distinct,climates,plants,and animals.
habitat are the places where a plant or animal normally lives and grows.habitat are like homes of the plants and animals.
tropical rainforest they are near the equator.they are warm all year long.the average temperature is 26 degrees.the rain is more than 3 meters.
deciduous forest they may grow in cooler places.they do not have huge amount of rain.they cover large areas.they loose their leaves in the fall and winter.
grassland biomes they are covered with types of grasses.the tall grasses covered huge areas.grasslands were turned into farms.the trees did not go well in this biome.
niche is the role that an organism has in an ecosystem.
