Chitin flexible polysaccharide tht is found in the cell walls of all fungi.
Hypha multicellular fungus.
mycellium hyphae grow at their tips and branch repeatedly to form a net like mass.
fruiting body reproductive structure.

Haustorium specialized parasitic hyphae.
spore A reproductive haploid cell with a hard outer coat that develop into a new organism.
Sporangium a sac or case in which spoered are produced
Stolon molds that form a type of hyphae
Rhizoid another type of hyphae that penetrates food and absorbs nutrients.
gametangium a reproductive structure that contains a haploid nucleus.
conidophore a spore producing hyphae.
ascocarp a hyphae with a specialized reproductive structure.
ascus a saclike structure.
ascospore spores that are produced by ascus.
basidiocarp The mycelium periodically reprodces sexually by forming this.
basidium the underside of the cap, club shaped hyphae that produce spores.
basidospore the haploid spores releases by basidia during reproduction.
lichen A symbiotic relationship between a fungus and an alga or a photosynthetic partner.
