science vocab/definitions

scientific methods solving any problem scientifically involves several steps.
observations bits of information you gather with your senses.
inference a conclusion about an observations.
hypothesis a statement that can be tested.
independent variable a factor changed in an experiment.
dependent variable factor or outcome that will be measured in an experiment.
constant factores in an experiment that stay the same.
controle a standerd used for comparison.
